The Bount Assault on Soul Society arc (Bleach episodes 92–109) is an anime‑original filler storyline in which the immortal, soul‑eating Bount—led by Jin Kariya—launch a full-scale invasion of Soul Society to exact revenge for their near‑eradication by the Shinigami; they kidnap Uryū Ishida, use his Quincy abilities to open a gateway, exploit powerless human allies from the Rukongai to breach Seireitei, and grow stronger by absorbing ambient reishi, only to be gradually defeated by the Gotei 13 and Ichigo, who ultimately slays Kariya at Sōkyoku Hill, leaving only Go Koga alive and reconciling with his creator Ran’Taō.
